Net ACTIVE - 'AIESAD-EADTU Credit transfer in Virtual and Distance Education'
- Funding programme
The Net ACTIVE project is supported by the European Commissions’ Erasmus Mundus Programme.
- Objectives
The first objective of the Net ACTIVE will be to develop the tools for the adaptation and diffusion of the ECTS in Latin America. Latin-America has been selected as target region because of the mutual interests, the high number of potential students and their present experiences in academic recognition.
The second objective of the NET ACTIVE will be the diffusion of the European academic offer in study areas of special interest for third countries. While the first objective has a Latin-American focus, the second one will be world-wide.
- Partners
The Net ACTIVE project will be developed through the joint action of the two biggest Associations of Lifelong Open and Flexible learning (LOF) Universities, namely: the Latin American Association of Distance Higher Education Universities (AIESAD), where UNED holds the presidency since its creation, and the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities (EADTU).
Both associations gather more than 70 institutions of higher education, in more than 30 countries
